The 1883 Black Ice Hockey Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was chartered in New Hampshire in 2010. Its mission is to promote and support pond hockey, ice skating opportunities, recreational activities, and other worthy causes in the Concord community while honoring Concord’s rich hockey heritage. Over the past 12+ years, our efforts and the support of our many local sponsors have allowed the Association to donate more than $600,00O to the Concord community for projects and causes consistent with our mission.
In 2011, Black Ice became the advertising agent for the Everett Arena, allowing advertisers to receive exposure at the Black Ice Tournament and for 12 months at the Everett Arena. In 2017 Black Ice expanded it advertisement reach to include the Ice Den and Tri Town Arena both in Hooksett.
