About The 1883 Black Ice Pond Hockey Association

The 1883 Black Ice Pond Hockey Association, a non-profit entity started in 2010 created this event as a way to maintain and expand ice skating as well as recreational opportunities for the community as well as honor the rich heritage of hockey in Concord. Over the 8 years of the tournament our success allowed The Black Ice to give well over $375,000 back to the community, in areas that are true to our mission.

In 2011, Black Ice became the advertising agent for the Everett Arena, allowing advertisers to receive exposure at the Black Ice Tournament and for 12 months at the Everett Arena. In 2017 Black Ice expanded it advertisement reach to include the Ice Den and Tri Town Arena both in Hooksett.
